How do I use the name of the file I am working in, as default name when exporting an InDesign file to PDF?

Hi!

I have an InDesign document that I modified and saved under a different document name.

When I choose “File – Adobe PDF present – x” to save the InDesign file as a PDF document the default name that appears in the textbox is the old file name. This is not acceptable to me or to my client who will receive both the InDesign document as well as the PDF document.

Why does InDesign remember and use the old file name and, most importantly, WHAT do I have to do to force it to use the current file name as a default?

I use Adobes Creative Suite 6 if it makes any difference.

Grateful for any help you can give.

Thank you!

To SAVE InDesign document - go to File > Save or File > Save As

To EXPORT InDesign document to PDF - go to File > Export... > PDF

And when you choose File > Adobe PDF Preset - you create a preset - set of settings to PDF export, that's why this preset remembers the last settings you set there
