indesign 2021 command shift r not working

I used to use this command to override the replace option in InDesign which was useful as you didn't make a copy. This function now does nothing when the replace window comes up.Now the cancel button is preselected. Hitting the tab toggles it to the replace, but hitting return when it's toggled there just cancels the action. Pics show default, then when tabbed over to replace. I use this shortcut A LOT and would be extremely sad to see this go. Please advise.

Well - nothing we can do about interface decisions by Adobe.

You'll have to file as a bug/feature request.

Or if it's better for you to go back to an earlier version of InDesign so your workflow isn't hampered.
