InDesign QR multiple QR code

New Here ,
May 20, 2020 May 20, 2020

Hi I am wondering if anyone has solved this issue.

I want to generate one QR code in InDesign that takes customers to the IOS app store as well as Google Play for Android (seeing that the app is available on both platforms). InDesign only offers a option for one weblink to be placed and not two as needed in this project.

Has anyone have a workaround on this issue?

I don't see how two URLs would be useful - how would the agent decide which one to use? I'd expect you'd need a link to a smart web page which in turn examines the platform and redirects as appropriate.

I think OP is talking about something like multi url qr code. These QR Code can direct to a location based on the geo location, device, OS etc, something like

I don't think this is possible in InDesign

Thank you Manan, the advert you shared pretty much agrees with what I said. A QR code is a single URL, of course, but if you pay for the services on that web site then the web site works out what to do, and where to go next. This is called dynamic QR code, or they choose to call it multi QR code but that's pretty misleading really, because all QR codes are static. The key thing is that the QR code working at all depends on the web site. The web site might go away. In this case, if you don't keep paying your $7 per month to QR code tiger or whatever they are, then when you stop paying your QR codes will all stop too. If your QR code is to tie in with a reasonably long lasting promotion, you might like to consider this, and put the QR codes processing on your own web sites, so it lasts as long as your business is still interested. Even single QR codes passed through "URL shorteners" have the same cautions about long term future.

Hello AlbertVer. The solution of Test_Screen_Name is very best and the dream action. But not possible for all projects. Then I suggest you putting two qrcode in layout identify the stores. 😃 You can make a bealtiful solution visual for this.
