Hi all.

I have been trying to open Indesign CC 2015 but it stuck in loading screen where the cursor spins forever.

If I get lucky, I see list of recent documents but I can't open them because it also stucks in a loading screen.

Seems like I lost some changes I made while I was working on my doc. I once saw a recovery dialog but still doesn't proceed after that stage. (whatever options I choose to recover the file or not) I am in an urgent situation!

Please help.

Thanks in advance!

What are your system specs and why are you still using such an old version of InDesign

Hi Bob,

Thank you for your reply.

I'm using MacBook Pro MacOS 10.14 Mojave. Yes, I'm guilty of using an old version but I am afraid to update now in case I can't open my file I've been working on. I'd appreciate any advice!

There should be no problem opening older files in a new version. I have 20-year-old InDesign files here that I can open in 2020.

You can update to a new version without removing the old.

I don't think 2015 is even supported under 10.14.
