Hi.
I've been searching both forums and youtube etc. for an answer but still can't figure this out. I have an Excel sheet containing a lot of small tables in confined ranges inside the same sheet. I am trying to link to the tables in a way that make InDesign detect (and add) rows and columns that are added to the tables in Excel. I cant figure out how to set this up. InDesign doesn't detect the new rows and columns, it only detects edits in text and numbers within excisting rows and columns. (I also cannot define an empty range or name a range in Excel and find that range when I place tables in InDesign.
Hope someone can help me with this. I am an InDesign novice.
Thanks.

Hi Sep,
as far as I can tell there is no way of doing this.
Perhaps others know a clever workaround?
If this is an essential part of a workflow you should look into scripting the feature.
Or hire a person who can do this. Also the Excel part: Detecting "single tables" in one Excel sheet without placing all the cells of a sheet.
