Hi,
I would like to know if it's possible to select several different references to index at the same time or if I should select reference by reference... I understood it was possible according to the adobe help section but the explanation does not work ... Thank you !!

can you show a link to an InDesign help file where this is said?
Don't think that's possible out-of-the-box.
What you can do: Use some scripts by Peter Kahrel where you can work with a word list. Or where the index markers are set according to an applied character style:
