I have a 20 page two page spread magazine that I am designing in Indesign CC. When I design the layout I stick exactly to the page layouts but when I export to PDF or straight to print I have about an eight of an inch that's bleeding onto other pages. Even edges that the pages are on the outside of the sheet. In indesign, everything looks perfect. Whats wrong?
The problem was in the export . I went to document setup and changed the bleeds. But then I also had to check the padding in the export PDF dialogs.

Unless your job will be wire-bound or single sheets, change your inside bleed setting to 0. You don't need bleed on the bound edge of the pages.

Seemed to fix something but now Im getting part of the next page included in the first.

Do you have some kind of effect on the page elements on the left? Can tell what is carrying over exactly, but you could try sending the left page elements to the back or on a lower layer.
