Prevent Spell Check from Flagging "Pre" in Hyphenated Word

I have added the hyphenated word "Pre-Primary" to the dictionary. Spell check still wants to flag the word "Pre". How do I prevent it from flagging "Pre" only in these instances. I don't want to make "Pre" a word—just "Pre-Primary".
