Repeat left column in table across multiple pages

I have a table where I need to repeat the content in the left colomn across multiple pages.

So that the first left column in every table is the same on page 1, 2, 3 etc.

So when I change the txt "Apples to strawberries" it will change across my document

And I should still be able to have different txt in other columns (a,b,c etc)

Can anyone help?

This is not possible - although a useful future feature - you can add your suggestions here - Adobe InDesign Feedback

I'd support it.

The only way you could do it is to setup the top row and set it as a header row - the rotate the text in the cell - then rotate the text frame.

It's not a pretty workaround and probably more problematic than easy to implement - as I have not tested this myself.

At the moment it can't be done.

A few options that might work.

Set up text variables and insert them in the left column. If you need to change something then alter the text variable and it will change everywhere - Create and edit text variables in InDesign

I've tried other things - like master pages - doesn't work

I've tried Place and Link - doesn't seem to work with tables

Text variables seems like it could be a way. But not without it's caveats.
