Times/Times New Roman (Mac to PC Continual Error) + Gil Sans Light

When working on InDesign files originally created on a Mac, nNo matter how many times I Find and Replace fonts at startup (Times/Times New Roman & Gil Sans (Light option)/Gil Sans Light) and then save the file on my PC, every time at startup I get a missing font error. I have tried this in both 2018 and 2021 versions, both problematic. What can I do?

Is it in the styles? Are you redefining the styles when mapping the fonts?

Sorry, I don't know what you mean by "styles" and "redefining styles when mapping the fonts." All I do is fix the fonts in the error dialogue box that comes up when InDesign opens the book file. What does it mean to "map a font"? What are the "styles" that I should be changing?

I clicked "redefine style" upon making the changes, and it stuck. Thanks, @eugene!
