Hi
I have many Type 1 fonts from several suppliers (Adobe, Agfa, Monotype, Fontshop etc,).
I have used the program TransType 4 to convert from Type 1 fonts to OpenType.
I use Font Agent 9.6.2 from Insider Software as the font manager program.
The problem is that the converted fonts are not auto-activated (replaced).
When I open an InDesign document I am told that the font does not exist and
I have to search for it and place it manually. Is there a way to fix it?
Gianni
This question has nothing to do with the Adobe Fonts service. Moving to InDesign Community which is more appropriate. - MOD
What you're experiencing is the way it is. How would a program know how to match your original Type 1 font with the totally new converted font you created. You must do this manually (unless you or someone else can create a script to do it).
