Xmp backend cc2018 plugin error

I recently updated my indesign from cc 2o18 to cc2019 but facing error in cc2019 while opening the file which was created in adobe cc 2018.

 

Xmp backend cc2018 x64 plugin missing.

 

Please help

It sounds like that may be a third-party plug-in that did not get installed along with the update to CC 2019. To get rid of the error message, try saving the file to IDML and opening the new file.

After some searching on the web, it appears that the "Xmp backend" plug-in is related to XMPie. Is that being used in your current workflow? If so, you'll need to install a version for CC 2019. Otherwise, saving as IDML should eliminate the error warning.
