I noticed that once I process a face using the AI Denoise tool in Lightroom Classic the face dissapears from the face detection. Any way to get it back?

I see the same bug.
Workaround: Before invoking Denoise, do Metadata > Save Metadata To File, which saves the face rectangles and assigned names in the file's metadata (or in the .xmp sidecar). Alternatively, set the option Catalog Settings > Metadata > Automatically Write Changes To XMP.

We are having trouble reproducing - or perhaps we are misunderstanding the issue?
Are we referring to the 'non-denoised' asset disappearing from the People Tab?

Here are the steps I followed on LR 14.0.1 / Mac OS 14.6.1:
1. Uncheck the option Catalog Settings > Metadata > Automatically Write Changes Into XMP.
2. Select a raw photo in Library Loupe and draw a face rectangle and assign it the name XXYYZZ. Set the caption to AABBCC, assign a keyword DDEEFF, and set the star rating to 4.
3. Do Photo > Enhance > Denoise.
4. Select the denoised DNG and observe that the caption is AABBCC, the keywords XXYYZZ and DDEEFF are assigned, and the star rating is 4, but there is no face rectangle in Loupe view.
5. Select the raw and do Metadata > Save Metadata To File.
6. Do Photo > Enhance > Denoise.
7. Select the new denoised DNG and observe it has a face rectangle with name XXYYZZ in Loupe view.
