P: Adding Music to Slideshow Crashes Lightroom

Advocate ,
Mar 12, 2021 Mar 12, 2021

Long term Lr6/LrC user. First time creating a slide show.

Added photos, mix of portrait and and landscape, into a custom template that shows the Title and Caption. Previewing works fine.

I added a music clip; LrC 9.4 froze  then the crash screen came up.

I've Googled this issue and it seems to be old. Any idea when it will be fixed?

Thanks

The current version of Lightroom Classic is 10.1.1. Do you see the problem when you upgrade your software?

If you remove the song, does it work?

If you use a different song, does it work?

Rikk. I'm aware the the current version is 10.1.1. I'm waiting for 10.2 before upgrading 😉

As to your question, since it crashes when adding, I can't tell if removing it helps.

I have not tried another song.

My query is due to the number of problems over many versions I found.
