Since the Update to LrC 14 and subsequently 14.0.1 LrC always crashes shortly after using denoise AI.

I am using an 16" Macbook Pro with a M3max with the 40 core GPU and 64 GB of unified memory and 2tb ssd. macOS Sequoia 15.0.1

Can you assist the Author by removing the pasted in crash report and replacing it as an attachment.

Currently that info takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with the post. Also large amounts of text in a post also render the Translate function inoperable...

Note that the author is new, so the author probably cannot edit that at this point.

Also, their is an apparent double posting.

@Tarquinius753  As a new member you probably cannot edit your own posts just yet (takes some time making posts and replying before that capability is available to a new member). Point (above) is it may have been best to include that very very long crash report as an attachment.

From our initial investigation using the crash report attached, it appears that the crash is not coming from denoise operation, but from a dng file creation that's happening after denoise operation and this is causing the crash. This could be due to the smart-preview generation happening in the background, can you please check if you have following option turned off in Lightroom Preferences -> Performance tab : "Use Smart Previews instead of Originals for image editing" ? @Tarquinius753

If possible, can you also provide info on whether this crash happening for all images or some specific set of images ?

"Use Smart Previews instead of Originals for image editing" is not enabled. I have done some testing and it seems the crashes mainly appear with hdr dng files, that have been produced inside LrC.

I am really disappointed by Adobe at this point. The creative cloud services aren't cheap and they do not seem to care that with the LrC 14 update the app became unusable. Damm fix the bugs. We pay for that stuff!!!!
