Greetings all,

A new update for Lightroom Classic has been released.  The May 14.3.1 update contains an update for this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

It's a known bug in 14.3. The workaround at present is to downgrade to 14.2

Note that I'm merging this thread with the autoritive thread in the Bugs forum

@LoisTee@Benitrayanu@42965190@Aula38498713ztoz@Kimbee92@Mark_Hallam1778:

Two possible workarounds:

- Roll back to LR 14.2 (known to work for everyone):
https://www.lightroomqueen.com/roll-back-update-previous/

- Manually download the ModelZoo folder that LR is failing to download (no reports yet whether this works for others):
https://community.adobe.com/t5/lightroom-classic-bugs/p-error-quot-some-masking-models-are-downloadi...

You won't lose your catalog or your previous edits with either  method.

@Piotr_Dec2197

To all here who were facing the issues while pasting settings and applying presets, i have finally found a way out of this problem, just follow the below steps :

1. Go to /Library/Application Support and check whether there is an folder named CameraRaw if not create one.

2. go to this address and download the Modelzoo folder https://pixeldrain.com/u/PbaU7q9S

3. unzip this folder (Adobe Lightroom Classic) and copy the ModelZoo folder from it and paste it into /Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw

Thats all, you're good to go. For any assistance text me on my instagram @withbaxit.

And if you try manually downloading the ModelZoo folder using Basit Manzoor's method, please post back here whether it works for you or not. With bugs like this, it's often the case that workarounds don't work for everyone, so it would be good to know people's experiences.

For me downloading the file that Basit Manzoor posted worked perfectly.
It will try to download the files again when you reopen LRC and after that it will say they are downloaded. Thanks Basit!

Which method, rolling back to LR 14.2 or manually downloading the ModelZoo folder?

@johnrellis

Download the files manually

Can you please clarify how to revert back to previous version? I found some guidance online where it is mentioned that one should press three dots next to the app in their Adobe profile while installing the app, but I don't see any versions there. I reinstalled the app and it's still the latest version with this bug that doesn't allow me to even copy-paste crop or exposure settings. I have dozens of photos that reqiure the same fixues and it will take me forever to do this manually.

I followed the instructions and I did have a a CameraRaw folder already there. I downloaded the folder and it still is not working. Any words of wisdom?

@julianna_7740, if you can't get the manual downloading of ModelZoo to work, then roll back to LR 14.2:

Excellent. Were you able to get the manual download method to work, or did you end up rolling back to 14.2?

This is a known bug on Lightroom Classic. I'm not aware of the issue also affecting Lightroom desktop. Are you using Lightroom Classic (Lrc icon) or Lightroom Desktop (Lr icon)? If Lightroom Classic, then current workaround is to downgrade to LrC 14.2

Bonjour,

oui, j'ai réinstaller la version avant la mise à jour et ça fonctionne à nouveau. Il y a donc un problème avec la nouvelle mise à jour.

🙂
