P: Export to DVD Missing XMP Files

Lightroom 8.3, Build [201905061635-edecdfdb]

Windows 10 Pro

In Grid, select two CR2 raw files.

Export these to a DVD.

The DVD is missing the XMP files.

The DVD only has the CR2 raw files.

This is a bug.

If you export to a Hard Drive, the XMP and CR2 raw files arecopied as expected.

Thanks

Lightroom Classic 8.4 was released today and contained a fix for this issue. Please update to 8.4 and verify that you are no longer seeing the issue. Thank you!

Are you selecting Export "As Original" in the Export dialog box? If you are NO XMP file should be copied or created in the folder or on the DVD you are Exporting TO. Export As Original (in the dialog box it only states Original) is just what it is the Original Images with NO Edits. So no xmp file is used.
