P: FTZ Adapter used with Zeiss lens creates metadata mismatch

Ich fotografiere seit vielen Jahren mit der Nikon Z6 und seit Anfang 2025 mit der Nikon Z6 III und u. a. mit 5 Zeiss Objektiven ZF.2.
Mit der Z6 III werden 3 dieser Zeiss Objektive in Lightroom unter Objektivdaten mit 5mm f1 angezeigt, obwohl die richtigen Daten 35 mm f2,0 und 50 mm f 2,0 und 100 mm f2,0 sind.

Mit der Z6 werden die vorgenannten 3 Zeiss Objektive dagegen korrenkt angezeigt!

Die Firmware beider Kameras ist auf dem aktuellen Stand.

In den RAW-Aufnahmen mit beiden Kameras werden im Exif-Viewer die korrekten Objektivdaten angezeigt!

Folglich müssen in Lightroom Fehler in der Kombination "Profildaten" Kamera Nikon Z8 II und den "Profildaten" der genannten 3 Zeiss Objektive sein.

Wegen des Fehlers kann ich bei den Aufnahmen mit der Z6 III nicht erkennen, welche Aufnahme mit welchem der 3 verschiedenen Zeiss-Objektiven entstanden sind.

Ich hoffe, dass die Adobe Lightroom Systembetreuer das Problem lösen können.

I'm not seeing that with other lenses on the Z6III (sample images from dpreview.com). Please share a couple problem images. If the forum won't let you attach the file here, upload it to Wetransfer, Dropbox, Google Drive or similar free service and post the sharing link here.  We can quickly determine the root cause of the issue (the camera recording the wrong metadata or the camera or LR not obeying industry standards).  (Your EXIF viewer screenshot doesn't show all the relevant information.)

I use the Nikon FTZ-Adapter II.
No problems with Zeiss and Camera Nikon Z6.
Only Problems with the same Zeiss and Camera Nikon Z6 III (Z6 3).

Size of RAW are ca. 28 MB

The Exiftool utility shows the camera has recorded the wrong information in the EXIF:LensModel field, though it's recorded correctly in EXIF:LensInfo (which the EXIF spec calls LensSpecification) and in the Nikon proprietary MakerNotes:Lens:

So this is not a LR issue -- the camera clearly knows the correct lens identification but is recording it incorrectly in EXIF:LensModel, and you'll need to report it to Nikon (as if they'll pay any attention).

Ich habe nun den Nikon Support angeschrieben und die gleichen Fotos geschickt und Nikon die Adobe-Antwort mitgeteilt.

Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, dass ich in Lightroom die Objektivdaten manuell korrigiere, also die falschen 5mm f1 durch 100mm f2,0 und 50mm f2,0 und 35mm f2,0 manuell ersetze oder ist das völlig ausgeschlossen, dass ich das an meinem PC machen kann?

Vielen Dank für den Hinweis mit dem LensTagger!

Ich ändere immer alle Bezeichnungen mit dem LensTagger.

Leider macht der LensTagger Probleme, wenn man ein Bild mal versehentlich falsch mit dem LensTagger bezeichnet hat.
Dann funktioniert der LensTagger nicht mehr. Mit einem Lightroom Katalog Backup (*.ircat) funktioniert er dann aber wieder für einige Male.

Die Änderung mit den 3 Objektiven hat mit dem LenTagger funktioniert!

Ich habe noch eine Frage zu dem LenTagger und hoffe, dass Sie mir helfen können.

Ich habe viele Vintage-Objektive.
Bei denen stell in in der Nikon-Kamera einen Datensatz, bestehend aus Brennweite und Blende, für das Objektiv ein.
Leider kann man nur Brennweiten und Blenden von Nikon Objektiven wählen.
Die Brennweite 125 mm meines Lathar Makros ist z. B. nicht dabei und ich wähle daher eine andere Brennweite.
Manchmal vergesse ich aber auch, den Datensatz in der Kamera einzustellen oder die zuvor gewählte Einstellung zu ändern.

Bei dem Foto"Screenshot Lightroom LensTagger - Voigtländer Mabko Apo Lanthar (1).jpg" habe ich den Datensatz 105 mm und f2,8 in der Kamera eingestellt.
Können Sie mir sagen, wie ich die beiden Werte in Lightroom in 125 mm und f2,5 ändern kann?

Geht das mit dem LensTagger?
