P: Hasselblad CFV 100C 907x in camera crop not supported

New Here ,
Jul 25, 2024 Jul 25, 2024

Hi, I just recently purchased a Hasselblad 907x CFV 100c and loving the in-camera crop feature, especially the 65:24 ratio (mimicking X-Pan's). However, it has come to my attention that Lightroom Classic does not automatically apply the in-camera crop to the raw files (3FR format).

My understanding is that for Hasselblad X2D, the in-camera crop is automatically applied to the 3FR files in Lightroom. If it is a bug, then can Adobe please fix it?

If not, please add the support for in-camera crop for Hasselblad 907X CFV100C files.

Thanks,

Norman

The Camera Raw team advises that they will need a sample file @Normansyah Duliar that exhibits the failure in order to fix this issue. Can you post one for us to download?

Greetings all,

A new update for Adobe Photography Products has been released.  The October (MAX) update contains an update for this issue.

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Thank you for being so patient.

Check this. Go to Preferences - Presets and make sure that the camera default for this camera is set to 'Camera Settings'.

I also encountered this discussion but related to Hasselblad X1D in camera crop:

https://community.adobe.com/t5/camera-raw-ideas/p-hasselblad-x1d-crop-mode-support/idi-p/12221105

Apparently the issue was eventually resolved for X1D with an update to Lightroom, but if you look at the latest post in that discussion, the issue isn't resolved for Hasselblad 907x.
