Mac OSX 12.01, Apple Silicon M1

LightRoom Classic 11.2

After upgrade from 11.1 updating any published collections (to disk) is very slow and gets stuck.  One or 2 get published, then progress stalls

Re-installing 11.1 solves the problem.

I've just updated to 11.3 and republished 30 images without any problems.

updated to 11.3 and the issue with publishing is still not resolved.  It took me 3 attempts to republish a folder of 64 images.  It did it eventually but was so slow.  Then tried to save metadata to files for 1000 images and the command wouldn't run.

Updates to the Adobe Photography Products were released today and contain a fix for this issue. Please install the update via your Creative Cloud Desktop App or your respective App Store.

Note:

You may need to refresh the Creative Cloud App for desktop software to show an update available.  ([Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+ [ R ])

For Mobile downloads, it may take several days for the update to appear in your respective App Stores.

Thank you for your patience.

"Hopefully the boys and girls at Adobe are working on this..."

In the answer marked Correct at the very top of this thread, Adobe employee Rikk Flohr wrote, "The team has identified the issue and implemented a fix." So it seems reasonable to expect that the next version of LR, 11.3, will contain the fix.  LR releases about every weeks, so we might expect to see 11.3 released in the next week or two.

"I don't have the computer skills to fix it the way you suggest."

That same Correct answer also has a very easy workaround: "Clicking on any standard Collection and then pausing for a moment will clear the error and the Publish Collection should finish publishing."

You can also easily roll back from version 11.2 to 11.1, with no more computer skills than required to install LR in the first place:

Your description of the problem is spot on.  I don't have the computer skills to fix it the way you suggest.   Hopefully the boys and girls at Adobe are working on this...

@LeeVaris, while waiting for this bug to be fixed, there are two workarounds:

- When LR stalls, click on another collection, e.g. the Quick Collection, then back to the published collection.

- Roll back to LR 11.1.

Why is this taking so long to impliment.  Doesn't Adobe realize how many people this has adversely effected?  I mean really you can't publish your photos to services--thats HUGE for many.  What about an update at least.
