Starting with Lightroom Classic 13.5, Panel End Marks will disappear if the side panels are very long. This issue did not occur with 13.4 and earlier.

OS version: macOS Sonoma 14.6.1

Hardware: 14-inch MacBook Pro with M3 Max processor

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Enable Panel End Marks from PreferencesInterface.
  2. In any module (Library, Develop, etc.), right-click on any panel and select Collapse All. Note that the Panel End Marks do appear.
  3. Expand panels until the panel is sufficiently long and requires a notable amount of scrolling to see the bottom. Note that the Panel End Marks no longer appear, and an empty space appears instead.

This is my experience also - it's blank as mentioned by @Czar Hey both in Library and Develop Modules.

I observe the same symptoms as Paul and GoldingD. Following the bug recipe:

- The end mark disappears on my LR 13.5 / Mac OS 14.5.

- The end mark doesn't disappear on my LR 13.5 / Windows 11.

Operating system: Mac OS 14.4.1 [23E224]

Since there has been no official response to Czar Hey’s post, I’m posting my own bug report.

I have a custom end marks panel with my keyboard shorcuts I’ve been using with Lightroom Classic for years. This end panel height dimension is longer than the screen hight of the program, but I’ve been able to scroll down to see the entire graphic. This has worked perfectly for years.

With the latest release, the graphic is now cut off at the bottom of the screen. Even if I select a different end marks graphic, the result is the same.

ISSUE REPRODUCTION

  1. Make a graphic with dimensions of 360w x 2000h pixels (or use the one I've attached to this post).
  2. In Preferences -> Interface: Choose said graphic as the End Marks file.
  3. Open up several or all the panels on both sides, either in Library or Develop.
  4. Scroll down on either panel

Expected result: the entire panel graphic should be visible

Actual result: the panel graphic is cut off (not completely visible)

"Since there has been no official response to Czar Hey’s post"

Adobe has moved this into the Bugs section, which they carefully curate to only contain reports about problems they consider as "bugs" (the app isn't working as intended). This is the only official response we're likely to see until/if the bug is fixed.
