P: Revert Capture Time To Original truncates fractional seconds

LEGEND ,
Dec 17, 2024 Dec 17, 2024

The command Metadata > Revert Capture Time To Original truncates the fractional seconds of the original capture time. This affects people who shot bursts that were synced to LR Cloud by LR 14.1.

To reproduce on LR 14.1.1 / Mac OS 14.6. 1:

1. Import the attached JPEG. Observe that Metadata panel > IPTC > Date Created shows fractional seconds for the capture time:

2. Do Metadata > Edit Capture Time and change the date/time to any other date/time.

3. Do Metadata > Revert Capture Time To Original. Observe that the fractional seconds have been dropped:

That's unfortunate. I've logged it.
