In the latest version of Lightroom Classic in the watermark panel. Click Italic and you get bold and visa versa. Noticed this after the update to the new version. My water mark had gone from Italic to bold.
Since installing LR 10.0 my Export watermarks have changed. I am using Jenkins 2.0 font set to bold italic. With this setting or even just italic the watermark comes out as an arial font. If I change it to just bold (no italic) or regular then the font comes out correct. This is the same with the Segoe Script font.

With Futura Font family, if you use Italic, Bold, Bold Italic the text is converted in Arial standard when you use the font in watermark style. In the previous LrC version everything worked well. Tried also with Futura by Abobe besides a different Futura release.
I looked into this and all the individual watermark settings are correct. I'm using Papyrus italic as the font and that is what is showing in the lookup boxes. I can go into the dropdown lists & re-select Papyrus and Italic, however, as soon as I select italic the sample changes to some default, gross font.
I tested to make sure it was not a Windows 10 issue and I can create the correct watermark in MS Word.
Apparently LR Classic can no longer handle the italic version??
These watermarks WERE working right up until I updated to the latest LR Classic.
Unfortunatly not. I have deactivate all the plugin. Even deinstall the one that could have a impact like Mogrify, restarted LRC and the problem still exists.
So what's different between our 2 machines since I don't have the problem? Perhaps it is the type of image, RAW vs JPEG vs DNG? Are you having the problem with a specific image format?
Much tougher to resolve, there are problems with V10 where one does X and then Y vs Y then X. This is a problem with the adjustment brush and the spot removal tool but even it is not predictable.
Got the same issue since the last update with my Win10 (never happened before). Already reported Adobe but the latest update today (8 Dec 2020) still didn't fix the issue.
Lightroom Classic since version 10.0 (Windows 10, 64-bits) does not correctly support italic fonts in watermark. LRC 10.1 does not fix this bug neither. For none of the fonts!
It is strange that Adobe, the King of Fonts, breaks their own kingdom !!!
And since the bug is so obvious and easy to reproduce, one can wonder how the baseline is tested before being released for an update
Hello, It has been quite some time since this bug has been reproduced and acknowledged. Any news on when a release of LrC fixing it will be available ?
