another lightroom mobile app syncing?

syncing  a collection working fine until a few days ago.  it's the last 3 files that are not syncing.  after stopping and then starting syncing I get the following message.  "sync lightroom later.  syncing is currently off".  when I click "all synced photos", those 3 show up as being synced.

Hi there,

As the 3 files are showing an error, could you please check here and delete the files from cloud then relaunch Lightroom and start the sync process again and see if it helps? Photo Editor | Online Photoshop Lightroom

those files are not in iCloud .  I looked under pictures-was that what you wanted me to do?  so, I did take the photos out of the collection in ?, restarted LR and then put them back in the collection.

Notice the ? mark where the path for the files to be uploaded is displayed, Have the three images gone missing from the catalog?

no.  as a matter of fact those 3 files in the preference are not the ones that I'm trying to sync.

again, after stopping and starting the syncing of that one collection I get the same message

"sync later, syncing is currently off"

By the way, what version of Lightroom, what exact version. If for some reason 6.7, we’ll 6.8 fixed a sync issue.

when I click my name at the top of LR it shows that sync with LR is paused.  I'm afraid that if I unpause it then the entire catalog will e synced --YES OR NO? THIS MIGHT BE THE SOURCE OF MY PROBLEM!!!!!!!!!

I changed location to PHOTOS? because that's where my photos are stored, on an ext drive, not in Pictures.

So sorry to take up your time.  this was indeed the source of my problem.  problem solved.
