Can't create collections after import

Hello!

Since a while back (a few updates of Lightroom Classic) I can't create new collections after I have imported a large amount of images (like 500–1000) from my camera memory card and converted them into dng-files during import. When I try to create a collection nothing happens. If I restart Lightroom it works fine again.

I tried to recreate the problem, to be able to upload a video of it here, and only importied one image. But then it worked. So maybe it's connected to importing large amounts?

Have you tried resetting the LrC preference file? The steps to do so are set out in Method 1 at https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/reset-preferences.html
