Cannot import after this last update

After this last update, I can't import photos. It goes through the steps and acts like the photos are being imported, then... nothing. At this point, I have to use the Task Manager to quit LR. Import button is no longer available. Restarting LR and my computer does not have any effect. Please help. This step is an integral to my business!

Using Windows 11 Home, LR V 14.2

I have the same issue here since updating to Lightroom Classic 14.2 (latest). Connecting my Nikon Z8 or Z7II to the computer as usuall and no picture mount ("no picture found") in the import dialogue.

Does anyone can help? Thank you.

Apparently restarting the computer solved the issue. Very strange behavior.

I had to uninstall EVERYTHING. I had to search on "Lightroom" and remove EVERYTHING. Luckily my photography business does not need the type of cateloging that Lightroom provides, because I had to delete it all. After i reinstalled it works.
