I am so SAD! I have bought a new Macbook M4 Max
However, Lightroom CC lastest version, cant EXPORT slideshows as videos!
the progress bar is stopped at nearly 10% position.
No matter if I wait several hours it won't move any progress = I Cant export slideshow as Video
I always used this function, for a few years, day by days
I uninstalled the LR and tried reinstalling it, but it still failed.
Does anybody have the same issue?
I wonder if it is a problem related to M4 chips. Please kindly help and fix please!

yep confirmed its V14 of LR, mac Sequoia did not matter.
I downgraded one of my computers to 13.5.1 and it was able to do a slideshow.
apparently, you cannot view or downgrade V14 catalogs to v13.
HOPE we get this fixed!

Does anyone know why Lightroom Classic 14.0.1 might have stopped exporting slideshows on my macbook pro? It begins the export, then freezes up. This is something have been using daily as part of my workflow. I HAVEN'T CHANGED ANYTHING BUT SUDDENLY IT'S STOPPED WORKING. I've made space, purged cache, un installed, and all images are landscape etc. I cannot find the solution and also cannot find a way to contact Adobe for help!! Losing money everyday for the past two weeks. Woud really appreciate some advice on this.
I'm using Sanoma 14.4.1
Thanks.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/
p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

Contact Adobe. This via a Chat. Before doing so, prepare your notes and information ahead of time as to be more efficient in communicating. Your info that you have posted in your Discussion is a start for the description, and probably have a copy of your LrC /Help/System Info/ as a text document on hand, so that you can paste or attach that into the chat.
To accomplish the Chat, bring up an Adobe webpage, and click on the Chat button. (see image below) This will start a Chat. At first the Chat will be with a chatbot, Typing “Agent” into the chat text field will bypass the initial chatbot. If an agent does not enter the chat then be assertive in requesting an actual Adobe Tech join in the chat.
In the Chat include (as mentioned above) a description of the issue, and probably your System Info. And include a link to your discussion.
You may want to ask for a phone call.
And please keep notes so that you can share them in your post for others to see.
For example, bring up:
https://helpx.adobe.com/contact.html
and click on the Chat button, typically found in bottom right corner

I can't reproduce on Mac (macOS Sequoia) with export to use 720p and 1080p presets using Auto and Manual modes.
If you haven't already tried resetting the LrC preference file, then it's always worth a try. The procedure is set out in Method 1 at below linked Help document.
https://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom-classic/help/reset-preferences.html
If resetting preferences doesn't help, then you'll need to provide more information regarding the slideshow setting you're using and your choice for the export preset.

I also have been unable to export slideshow as a video since the December 2024 release - prior to this release I had successfully executed this task on numerous occaisions. I have just updated to the latest release of Lightroom Classic (v 14.3.1) and tried again to export my slideshow as a video - it seems like it is progressing normally but then hangs and does not provide an error message. The progress bar gets to the stage indicated in the attachment and then stalls. I have left it in this status for hours and the progress bar does not move.
Has this behaviour been acknowledged by Adobe and will it be addressed in a future release?
BTW - I am running MacOS Sequoia 15.4.1 on a Mac Studio.
Thanks,
Andrew

Hello,
I am using MacBook Pro, 2.4Ghz, 8-Core Intel, Radeon Pro 560X 4 GB Intel UHD Graphics 630 1526 MB, Memory 32GB 2400 MHz DDR4, macOS Sequoia 15.2, and the latest LR Classic.
When I am importing 131 DNG edited files with music, it hangs about 15% in to import Slideshow export to MP4
I never had this problem before importing, any ideas on why?
Paul
