Dev. Module - Image blurry when Fit to screen, sharp wenn Fill

Hi guys,

I've just switched from LR6 to LR CC Classic. Also I made the switch from PC to MAC, using a Macbook Pro 15".

I have noticed blurry images in Develop Module when working with the pictures. This happens, when the top left navigator is set to "fit". As soon as I switch it to "fill" the image gets sharp. I want to edit the pictures in fit though. I'm a long-term LR5 and LR6 user and this never happened before.

I am using a 23" display with full hd resolution connected to the Macbook. There isn't an issue with sharpness on the display, as this is clearly something with Lightroom. Images turn sharp as soon as I switch to fill, which works with all images being 3:2 or 4:3 - but I only consider this a temp. workaround. I want to work in fit mode like I am used to.

As I'm new to Mac, I don't really know what to do.

Thanks for your help guys. Very much appreciated.

Julian

Have you tried to deactivate the GPU support: Adobe Lightroom GPU Troubleshooting and FAQ

Do you have installed the actual version of your graphic device driver?

Thanks for that link. Will work through it.

I just "bought" the new LR but why would I need do deaktivate GPU?

As long as I can remember Adobe bringing GPU support it is suggested to deactivate it...

This is a known bug in the current Lightroom release on all platforms. Apparently it will be fixed in the next. You can avoid it by turning off the GPU but that will slow down your editing.
