Does the Dell active pen work in lightroom and photoshop

Hi, I am interested in getting a 15 inch 2 in 1 laptop touch screen from Dell and I don't know if dells active pen will work in lightroom for adjustments, I think it may be quicker and easier then using a mouse. I did have a demo in pc world with a Microsoft surface and it worked fine but these are out of  my budget.

has anyone tried this out or is a laptop (non touch screen) the best option using a mouse.
