Hi, I hope someone can help.
Yesterday I set up payment for, and installed Lightroom CC instead of the Lightroom Classic version. II realised that I had made a mistake, cancelled my subscription and uninstalled.
Today I have tried to install the Classic version, gave my payment information but it will not install. I keep getting the CC version opening with a pop up message saying that my subscription has expired and I need to reactivate it to use Lightroom CC. This isnt the version I want!
My query is, do I now have to cancel the payment plan I have set up for the Classic version so I don't get charged for something I havent been able to install?
How can I clear the decks of the Lightroom CC and install Lightroom Classic version?
Any help will be appreciated, thanks.

Thankyou, but without knowing which of the various issues is causing the problem, a page of self help solutions isnt really much use. After identifying what I thought were the issues I got the advice go on the Community Forums which is why I am here.
It would be good to actually speak to a human about it!

Speak to a human? We are humans here, but we cannot help with billiing and payment issues as we don't work for Adobe. Again, you need to click on "Support Home" and follow the menus regarding billing and payment issues.

lol, I know you are human, what I meant was it would be good to chat to a human and explain what the issue was. I dont have a problem with billing or payment. I have a problem that I can't install Lightroom Classic because Adobe keep telling me I have to renew my cancelled subscription for Lightroom CC
However, I have just been on the remote chat thingy and a person has spent an hour fiddling around in the bowels of my laptop trying to sort the issue out with no success. Thanks anyway
