Download update 6.12?

In 2015 I bought LR 6 and I need an update the latest one that is I think Lr 6.12.1.

When I open the page that supports both the Updates for Mac/Windows and hit the button it downloads Photoshop 6. Pls Help! Thank you!

The latest version is 6.12

If you can’t update from within the application:

Help >> Updates

hi 99jon, thank you so much for your reply. One more question. Hitting the link, a window appeared saying: 'Opening setup zip (360MB)

Open (or Save) and Open with Adobe Photoshop CS6 (default). When downloading my desktop shows Photoshop CS6 opened. Is this supposed to open photoshop ? I think the update should be installed in Lightroom 6? I'm totally  confused. thank you so much for helping me out!

Nothing to do with Photoshop!

Are you using Windows? You may want to try the download again. After opening the zip file you need to click “Extract”

You should then see the set up file. Double-click the patch file (usually red) to start the update.

After 8 attempts or so still unable to download the LR 6.12 Windows Update.

Still getting  Photoshop CS6 zip file (360 MB) after hitting the link...

If you already have LR successfully installed; there should be no reason you can’t update.

If you still experience problems it may be worth starting over.

1. Uninstall LR
2. Download the base application LR 6.0
3. Then install the LR 6.12 patch

Go to the link below and start by expanding the link for LR6.
