Hello,

if you edit the original with saturation, contrast, exposure and so on, it is normal for the original file to increase its size.

Likewise if you export the file to 600 ppi for example, but you should tell me more to better understand your problem

Can you post a screen shot of what you are seeing?

If you place the cursor just at the top the black bar between the film strip and the grid or loupe area you can click/hold and drag the filmstrip bigger or smaller (Up/Down).

This is what I'm seeing. The click/hold and drag the filmstrip does not work unfortunately

Yeah this is some type of bug that IIRC only affects Mac computers (but I might be wrong). If you search for this problem on the forum you will find a few discussions on it.

Have you rebooted your system?

Try turning off the GPU option in LR in the Preferences, Performance tab.

Thank you Just Shoot Me! I am afraid you might be right! I have been experiencing frequent LR crashes recently, which sounds like could be connected...

Haven't rebooted my system yet, and will try switching GPU option as soon as I get back home!

i appreciate your help!

M

Yes Monika from your screen shot you are running LR CC 2015 which is WAY OLD.

If you have a valid Photographer Subscription plan and you are running a Newer version of Mac OS X you should Update/Upgrade to the newest Traditional LR version, LR Classic CC V7.3.1.

Hi there!

I managed to sort my issue by resetting the preferences in LR. Yaaay!

I do have a valid Photographer Subscription plan and yes, I know I am running the old version... I'm not sure how to upgrade? I assumed the updates will come automatically! Will look into it now.

Thanks Again,

M

bring the mouse cursor closer to the horizontal bar because you simply enlarged the preview ... this is what it looks like!

This bug was fixed nearly a year ago: Lightroom: Filmstrip is covering / overlapping filter- and breadcrumb bar | Photoshop Family Custome... . You're probably running an old version of LR. Please do the menu command Help > System Info and copy and paste the first ten lines here. With that, we can let you know the proper way to update your LR.
