Filter for .dng files?

In the develop module, is there a way to only show specific file types? For instance let's say you did a realty shoot and have a couple hundred files that you've batched HDR files from and you're left with the .dng's. Is there a way to display all those .dng's instead of going back to the library module and flagging them individually, searching for a file extention on each one? There has to be an easier way, and if not, Adobe - could we consider some form of file extention flagging or sorting?

Thanks all

You can create a Smart Collection that filters on DNG files as shown below

Go to Library, and in the Library Filter bar, and in the Metadata browser, selectthe File Type column and then Digital Negative:

Or do a Text filter, "Filename Ends With .dng":

Now back to Develop, and the same photos will be displayed in the filmstrip.

If you do this a lot, create a filter preset called "DNG" saving these filter settings, and you can invoke that preset in the upper-right corner of the filmstrip directly in Develop without having to make a detour to Library:

(But the detour to Library is very quick -- type "g", set the filter, type "d" -- no big deal.)
