I can see my collections in the Lightroom CC Develop module but my folders are not displayed. How do I fix this? Using Macbook Pro. Lightroom CC 13.5 release. OS ver Sonoma 14.5
[Moved from ‘Lightroom ecosystem’ to ‘Lightroom Classic’ by moderator]
The Library module is the place you go to for organisation of the image library, and your selections here dictate what is the 'Source' shown in the Filmstrip - and that can be visible in other modules such as Develop or Print. So whatever in particular you then want to Develop or Print can be selected from the Filmstrip.
The Source may be one or another Collection or Smart Collection based view in Library, or a Collection Set in which case all members of all contents of that will show. Or it

"Collections" is used in Lightroom-Classic for a saved selection of photos. The correct term to use in Lightroom (Cloud based) is "Albums".
The word "Folders" is used in Lightroom-Classic to reference physical Folders on the Mac hard-drive. In Lightroom "Folders" is the term used to group Albums in a set.
Can you explain more what you mean by- "folders are not displayed" ?

There is nothing to 'fix'. This is as designed. The develop module only shows collections in the left panel, not folders.
P.S. Please do not use 'Lightroom CC' when you mean Lightroom Classic. 'Lightroom CC' is an old name that has not been used for many years, and referred to Lightroom desktop, not Lightroom Classic. It clearly confuses people if you use this, and also leads to posting in the wrong forum.

The Library module is the place you go to for organisation of the image library, and your selections here dictate what is the 'Source' shown in the Filmstrip - and that can be visible in other modules such as Develop or Print. The Source may be one or another Collection or Smart Collection based view in Library, or a Collection Set in which case all members of all contents of that will show. Or it may be "Previous Import" or it may be "All Photographs". Or direct contents of a particular Folder, or else whatever is in that folder plus whatever is in any subfolders.
This Source can then be filtered down in Library in specific ways, affecting what's seen in the Filmstrip, and a particular form of filtering can be saved under a user chosen name.
I mention all this because in Develop there are controls along the top of the Filmstrip. At the left side a menu lets you re-select any of the last several Sources that you have viewed. Without switching back into Library module.
Or you can make and change, open and close Stacking in this context. Or apply ratings, colour flags and such.
Again without going back into Library, , the Filmstrip allows you to change the filtering from that Source..
The word "Filter" at the right end acts as a button opening some attribute filtering choices
and next to that, a menu lets you select any custom named filter preset you may have saved. This immediately applies to Filmstrip (all modules) as well as to the Library Grid view, working from the starting point of whatever is the currently chosen Source.
