Foto-Bibliothek in iCloud speichern

Hsllo!

Marc

Lightroom libraries are stored in the Adobe Cloud! There is no interaction with iCloud. They are totally separate storage systems.

Or are you talking about Lightroom-Classic?

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 14.5.1, Photoshop 26.10, ACR 17.5, Lightroom 8.5, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 15.1.1 .

Thank you very much. I am talking about Lightroom CLASSIC. I switched from iCloud to a NAS system - which is less comfortable and slower, but iCloud doesn't help here.

Adobe does not support placing your catalog on a NAS. Eventually that catalog will fail, and it might get corrupted.

Oh, thats interesting and important to hear.

I am currently working with the CATALOG in iCloud and the ORIGINAL PICTURES on a NAS (Western Digital MyCloud EX2 Ultra). This seems to work perfectly as long as the catalog itself is not on a NAS, only the RAWs.

Does that seem to be a good solution for you or can this cause failure or corruption as well?

Thank you very much for your support - very much appreciated.

"I am currently working with the CATALOG in iCloud" - That WILL BE problematic!  There must be a local copy of the catalog for it to work, and IMO having it sync to iCloud will inevitably cause failure and corruption as experienced by others using offline catalog syncing.
