Getting stuck on a deleted picture.

New Here ,
Dec 12, 2016 Dec 12, 2016

Every time I delete pictures from the disk, my Lightroom gets stuck on a deleted picture. Even though I wait, the load circle just spins and spins. When I click on other pictures, it stays on one of the deleted pictures. I have to close Lightroom and open it again to be able to see/edit other pictures. Unsure of what to do?

I have the latest version of Lightroom CC as well as the newest OS update on Mac. I always update as soon as there is an update.

I have the same issue  with the latest release 2015.8 Win 7 OS

If you try to delete "remove photo" in the Develop module. The deleted picture gets stuck in the video memory. The ONLY way to resolve the issue is to exit and restart LIghtroom.

This has NOT been an issue with any of the previous versions. Hardware & OS has not changed in past 3 yrs

Does the workaround link I posted help? if it does, please add your vote to the bug report.

The workaround for the time being is to revert back to the Library Module and deleting from there.

Anyone adding a +1 here is unlikely to get things moving quicker and needs to be done in the correct place.

I have resolved my issue thanks to "Just Shoot Me" who doesn't have a GPU feature.

I using a GeForce GTX Titan/PCIe/SSE2 video card.

1) In Edit/ Preferences/ Performance Camera Raw    - Uncheck Use Graphics Processor

2) Restart Lightroom

3)  In Edit/ Preferences/ Performance Camera Raw    - Check Use Graphics Processor

3) Resart Lightroom

Problem resolved.   Hope this helps other users and Adobe in resolving the issue.
