How do I search for exact keywords in Lightroom's keyword list?
For example, if I type “bar” all the words that include “bar” appear, such as “barcelona”, etc. But I just want “bar” to appear.
Thanks.

Sadly, it's working as designed. Therefore, no way of doing what you're asking in the shipping product. That being said, you could try third party plugins such as AnyFilter https://johnrellis.com/lightroom/anyfilter.htm

I don't think AnyFilter will search the keyword list.

@JohanElzenga I suspect that you are correct.
FWIW, I first bugged the search behaviour around 15 years back and a few times since. Unfortunately, others were of the view that the behaviour described by the OP is a benefit. I still can't get my head around their logic, but they won out.

I propose that Adobe find a solution to this problem, for example as with Google, if I do an exact search, I surround it with quotes "XXX XXXX", also LR should recognize the complete words.

Remember that searching the keyword list is not like searching for images based on keywords. Searching the list is meant to quickly find all keywords that contain a certain letter combination, so you can select the one you were looking for. You do not normally need the search to go down to a single keyword. That means it is not really such a big deal that typing 'bar' will not only find the keyword 'bar' but also 'barcelona'. If you seach images based on keywords, then you do have the option to search for complete words only.
