Hi guys,

I Googled and I looked in Adobe but cannot find up-to-date instructions or videos. Can you point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Raphael

The "Printer" button on the right is there to allow you to review your printer settings prior to printing. When you click OK Lightroom will continue on to print the image  with the settings. The page setup button in the other corner allows you to change settings without activating the print command. I can't help you with the  16-bit question. It probably doesn't really matter. I doubt you will be able to see any difference between 8-bit printing and 16-bit printing. I'm using Windows which appar

Creating a new printing template seems rather straightforward to me. Just choose  everything that you want included  such as paper size, paper type, paper profile, etc.  Then click on the "+" next to Template Browser and name the new template.

I wish it were that simple for me!

As you can see from the 2 screenshots I don't know how to change the paper to Epson Hot Press Natural under presets - maybe because the preset does not exist yet, and the same under Media type. I also cannot switch from Print Fedder under Page set up, both adjustments being in the Print window.

Also,

a) What's the difference between the "Printer Settings ..." button on the left and the "Printer" button on the right and,

b) why doesn't the software hold the 16-bit check mark after I close then reopen either one of these windows?

Thanks a lot.

But from what I have read it is difficult to see any difference anyway. You'll have to experiment for yourself.

Thanks Jim.

My other question about images with non round number dimensions is still pending.

Be well.
