How to get new User Pre-sets in Export to hold on to custom settings?

Hi,

They do, long enough for one export. But that's all. How do I make custom settings permanent and re-usable?

Thanks a lot,

Raphael

Thanks Per. I know my part but the software doesn't know it's part.

I just tried to re-use a pre-set I created earlier, None of the settings were there. What do you think?

Are you saving your presets?

Click Add at the bottom left corner, give the preset a name and choose a folder, then click Create.

The next you want to use this preset, select it from the list of presets on the left hand side of the Export dialog.

First, I would check the permissions on the User presets folder. Make sure that you have both read and write permissions.

On Windows, the path to that folder is

C:\Users\Your username\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Export Presets\User Presets

If that's not the issue, try resetting the preferences. See

Thanks Per, but that's all above my pay grade.

And I use a Mac, not Windows
