Hi all,
I've just updated Lightroom Classic on the desktop to the latest version.
There's a major problem, the image in the Develop module has crushed shadows. The previous version did not have this issue. Is there a setting I missed? Please help, it's insane as the crushed shadows *only* appears in the Develop module, the final image will not have crushed shadows.
Thanks
Wes
Yes, clearly a broken monitor profile.
I just wrote in another thread that it's amazing how many of these we've seen in the last week. Clearly a bad batch just went out through Windows Update. I wonder who it was this time - Dell, Asus, Acer, Samsung, LG? Those are the usual culprits.
As a temporary fix until you get a calibrator, replace your current profile with sRGB IEC 61966-2.1. Relaunch Lr when done, it loads the profile at application startup.

This may be a monitor profile issue. Is your monitor calibrated?
