images returning to Lightroom CC from Photoshop

After making the basic edits in Lightroom CC I continue editing them in Photoshop by choosing "edit in Photoshop". When I'm done in Photoshop, I merge all layers, then hit "save".

Normally, this image then returns in Lightroom  immediately.

However, lately, either it doesn´t show up in Lightroom at all, or it takes a very long time for it to show up. All programs are updated.

Does anybody know what the problem is?

I'm having a similar problem.   After I'm done in PS, I hit the X on the tab and receive the usual Save/Don't save popup.

However, when I hit SAVE, it takes me to the SAVE AS screen instead of saving it back to LR.   I can't get it to save the image back to LR.

Hi, we're sorry about the trouble! Would you mind sharing the version of Lightroom and Photoshop you're using along with your computer's macOS version?

You can try to reset the preferences of Lightroom using the steps mentioned here: https://adobe.ly/2JSym5e

Thanks,
Nikunj
