I have downloaded presets from Photoserge.com and need to import them into Lightroom CC. The presets are in files with extensions .lrtemplate. How do I import these into Lightroom so that they are listed under the Presets options in the Develop Module?

For "Develop Presets"-  (Brush presets will be different!)

Open the Develop Module,

Open the Presets Panel,

Hover the mouse cursor over "User Presets"

Right-click

Choose [Import] from the menu,

Navigate Explorer/Finder to select the FOLDER where the .lrtemplate files exist, (Do NOT select a file!)

Click on [Import]

You can also Right-click in the Presets Panel to create 'New Folders' in the Presets.

You can drag and drop presets to other places in the Presets Panel, like a new folder.

Hello. I have followed your instructions. When I right click on "import" in the preset area and it takes me to my files box, it only pops up with one thing and it's not all of my files. In the lower right corner of that pop up box, is a drop down box that says lrtemplate. No zip files show in there. When I click on that drop box and change it to "all files" it shows me the preset zip files but won't import them to LR. I don't know why it is doing this, hopefully someone can help!  I hope this makes sense!

If you want, do a manual install:

Close LR if it is running.

Unzip the presets to a folder with a well-chosen name.

Using Explorer/Finder, go to the LR folder for the develop presets. On Windows this is something like:

C:\Users\[my name]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Develop Presets

Copy the folder you created to this LR folder.

Alternatively, you can also just copy the presets to the existing "user presets" folder.
