Internal errors since updating to new Lightroom Classic CC

Community Beginner ,

So first, I'm paying adobe for my software and it bothers me that I can't get them to answer my questions.  Last I checked I'm not paying the "community" for my software and they aren't being paid to become Adobe's customer service team.

Ever since updating to Lightroom Classic CC yesterday I keep getting error codes.  Getting them both in Develop and Library.  I can't tell the the develop error code is keeping me from proceeding but I'm still concerned there is an issue I'm not seeing and will face down the road.  The Library error will not let me proceed in creating a collection of virtual copies.  This is how I create my B&W gallery for each client.  I've attached images.  NEVER had these before updating!

This is the develop module error:

This is the Library module error with a screen shot as well of what I'm doing that produces it.  It will not let me create another collection:20171020_094233.jpg

Hi Dmpkce,

As you are receiving an internal error could  you try creating a new test catalog and then go to file > import from another catalog and Import this catalog into the new catalog and let us know if it still shows you the error?

Regards,

Sahil

I'm trying it though who knows how long it will take to import the whole catalog so I'll have to get back to you to see if it solves it.

Creating the new catalog and importing old one into it (or part of it for the sake of time) seems to have worked.  I have not recently gotten an error.

Hi,

This is obviously a SQL programming error. It looks like the code is trying to insert a duplicate element in a table of the catalog database.

So I haven't had any more errors in a while but I've had other issues.

When importing photos that were edited on another machine onto my main

machine by way of importing from another catalog, it isn't recognizing

existing photos. I've had to remove them from LR on my main computer and

re-import them. I've also had the entire program stop responding when

importing and I have had to shut it down. So many issues in just one day

of use.
