Two weeks ago, I began using the map module in Lightroom 6.14.
I was delighted with the drag-and-drop features for placing groups of my photos from the
ribbon across the bottom onto a location on the map.
Now, 2 weeks later, I open Lightroom again and get the following error:
"This page didn't load Google Maps correctly. See the JavaScript console for technical details."
After searching for how to even FIND the JavaScript console, I had no idea what I was looking at
or what to do about what I was seeing.
I rebooted (no joy), updated drivers and rebooted (no joy), updated system and application software
and rebooted (STILL no joy)!
Upon starting Lightroom, I sill have the "page didn't load" error message.
I rebooted yet again, opened the JavaScript console, then opened Lightroom.
I've attached a screenshot of the Lightroom error message and javascript console.
(At least the GPS coordinates still seem to be intact for the images I placed!)
Help?
I'm running:

Intel Core i7, 4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz

Since Adobe is unlikely to issue any more updates for Lightroom6,
and it's equally unlikely that Google will revert/undo whatever change it just made:
As a general "work around" strategy, I'm using Google Maps in conjunction with Lightroom
(that is, I have a browser window open to maps.google.com beside my open Lightroom window).
I can't see/interact with the maps in Lightroom anymore, but the database is still logging GPS
coordinates that I provide. It's sometimes a frustrating process to GET the G

Adobe is forcing Classic 6 users to buy subscriptions. I WILL NOT DO IT! I've found COREL AFTERSHOOT PRO 7 to highly functional and A ONE TIME PURCHASE except for upgrades every couple of years if wanted. Protest with your dollarls!

Nobody is "Forcing" anybody! It is a decision you make yourself to use other software. Adobe's business principle is the 'Subscription' model. Take it or leave it.
Being curious I looked at the Corel site to research and found this- COREL AFTERSHOT PRO 3
Corel is bench-marking their app against Lightroom 2015.14.!!! Old, old, old Lightroom v6 from 2015. Many improvements have been made to Lightroom-Classic in speed and capability since then! https://www.aftershotpro.com/static/asp/docs/products/aftershot/v3/asp3-lightroom-benchmarking-en.pd...
Then I read this-
AfterShot Pro integrates well with Photoshop. With AfterShot Pro as your batch-photo processor and image manager, you can quickly process your RAW photos. Then, when you're ready for more detailed editing, simply click the "Edit with External Editor" button to export in TIF directly to PhotoShop.
So you need to subscribe to Photoshop somehow. That would be the Photography Plan (US$9.99/month) with Lightroom-Classic included. Doesn't make sense to me to pay for both Corel and a Photography Plan subscription if you want the capability of Photoshop.
