LR just started entering import mode without my input. Crashed my Windows 10 system while I was browsing my LR catalog. Today, a note popped up from Adobe announcing updates, and one of the updates that I noticed was LR Classic 13.31 to fix bugs. Is this one of the bugs, and should I update my system again, though I just installed 13.3 a month or so ago and have had lots of issues with slow performance.

"LR just started entering import mode without my input."
Check your Preferences (General) and be sure this option is unchecked-
If checked, then Lr-Classic may be identifying a device (external drive and some camera cards) that can trigger the Import dialog.

If you are having slow performance, describe the actions in LrC that are slow. Be specific and detailed.
If LrC is crashing Windows, then this is either a bad/out-of-date driver, or a hardware malfunction.
Both MIGHT be cured by updating the GPU driver to the most recent Studio (not game) driver; but it also could be something else.
Please post your system, by copying the info in Help->System Info, down to the GPU Information. We don't need anything after that.

Thanks for the reply, dj. Your recommendations are beyond my computer skills. My son does most of the system modifications for me and he is currently busy elsewhere. The most recent update 13.3 installed a new catalog? and that seems to have erased? many or all of the previews in the previous catalog so that archive browsing goes much slower since the update. (I have 60k files in my catalog, and perhaps that number is inadvisable, but I don't have the technical skills to attempt alternatives.) I also see that Adobe is offering an new update , 13.3.1, but I am reluctant to launch another update since I have had rather bad luck with not only 13.3, but some others in the past. I have attempted to attach a screen shot of LR's report on my system, but it is flickering for some reason so it may be a flawed picture. Sorry for any lack of quality. Thanks for you attention.
