I'm having the same issue. I'm using Lightroom Classic CC, on a Mac running High Sierra. Note, LR crashing was happening before the upgrade to High Sierra.

I have my import set to copy and convert to DNG. Although, it seems this setting doesn't matter. After the crash, there are temporary folders and sometimes all of the RAW files from camera copied, but sometimes it only gets part way through the copy of the RAW files. I've tried to just use the finder and copy the RAW files to the folder, then synchronize the folder and it still crashes. I've tried to do just copy the files in LR, and it still crashes. I've even tried to just add the files, and yep you guessed it, it still crashes.

I have plenty of disk space 500GB+, and 8GB of memory. I only have chrome and mail running when trying to use LR.

This issue is really frustrating - I've sent crash reports every time!

LR CC 2015 is now up to the .13 release. Also there is a brand new version of LR. LR Classic CC (LR Version 7.01).

Are you using the Creative Cloud Desktop app on your Mac? If you are open it and then check for updates. If there are any install them.

This is IF you are a Photography Plan Subscriber. If you bought LR 6 as a Stand Alone program you can install the .13 release for LR 6 from here.

Open LR and go to Help > system Info and post the exact version of LR.

You state you are using LR CC 2015.6 (Which is the same as LR 6.6) and is Not the newest release (Of either LR 6 or the subscription base CC version).

Yeah that's because you are replying to a thread started by someone else.

I had asked the OP to check for updates using the CC DTA and if they were running the stand alone LR 6 to update to the most current version from the link I provided. Then you replied that you are a subscriber and you are running LR 7.01. Which was confusing.

So I ask them, the OP, to verify but accidentally replied to your post.
