Lightroom CC is not responding -- won't open

I can't get Lightroom to open on my Mac. I only started using it a couple weeks ago, first with the free trial and now by subscription. When I click on the Lr icon, the icon will bounce for a moment and my cursor shows it's loading and then nothing happens. I have tried signing out of CC, but I can't click the Sign Out button. I have force closed Lightroom and shut down the computer to try again and nothing is working. I have also tried everything on the Adobe troubleshoot page.

Suggestions?
