I am using the latest version of LrC 13.3, Mac OS Sonoma 14.5, and Canon R5 Firmware v 2.0.0.
When shooting tethered LrC is unable to detect camera. I have tried rolling back to LrC 13.2 and it worked for a while and failed again.
However, EOS Utility is able to detect the camera, no issue.
PS. I tried tethering to my windows laptop using LrC 13.3, the same cable and they are working fine.
Anyone using Macbook facing the same issue and is there a solution?

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

I always have to quit the tethered window and restart it for LR to connect to my Canon 5ds. Have you tried this ?

Your camera still connects? I'm having no luck with my 5dsr. The computer doesn't acknowledge it, although the camera indicates the connection is attempting to be made, saying "busy" - but no computer icon on the LCD. Lightroom 13.3, Sonoma 14.4.1

I am using Sonoma 14.5, with EOS Utility 3 and LRC 13.3.
I have to uninstall EOS Utility, and it LrC and the camera R5, will be able to connect. However, it takes a few secs to connect. There is the rainbow circle spinning showing on LrC and then it will connect.
Maybe it is bec EOS Utility does have the software update for Sonoma yet. Hope they will do that soon.
Today, LrC is unable to detect my camera again. There seems to be a compatiability issue between LrC tethering and Sonoma 14.5.
