Lightroom Classic CC Library mode

i recently downloaded Classic CC and also bought one of the many how to guides.  Looking over screen shots from the book discussing the library section i notice that in the book screen shot showing the file handing options that there are two sections that are not showing on my monitor.  Both File Renaming  and Destination do not show at all...

is this human error on my part,,,did i miss a wrong button... or a bug

Which version of Lightroom (we need the exact version number, ex.: 7.1) do you use and which operating system.

I don't understand exactly your issue. I think a screenshot would help for a better understanding.

Make sure you have select COPY and not ADD.

If that's not it, then right click on one of the tabs in the Imoprt Dialog box (right-hand side) such as File Handling and a menu will drop down and then you can select to turn on File Renaming and turn on Destination.

Also these panels are not in the Library Module, they are in the Import dialog box.

File Renaming and Destination don't show if you have selected "Add" at the top of the import dialogue. The things you're missing only are available if you select Move or one of the Copies.
