I recently upgraded to a new MacBook Pro, using the latest Lightroom Classic CC and Mojave. Using the DXO plug-in, I downloaded my unprocessed DNG images to DXO, highlighted the images that I wanted to process, and clicked on “Export as DNG back to Lightroom.”
On my old MacBook Air, when the images are uploaded, I get an audio sound for each image as Lightroom pairs the DXO image alongside the original DNG image in the folder.
Now, DXO says the images are uploaded, but they are not showing alongside the original image in Lightroom, nor is there the audible sound as Lightroom pairs them in the folder.
I searched for a supposedly processed image using the general search bar, and the path displayed showed that the DXO image was on my drive, in the correct folder, but it is physically not evident in Lightroom. Also the DXO files should also normally display when viewing Collections in Library mode in Lightroom - they are not there.
Any ideas on how I can fix this problem? Thanks.
Thanks very much for your suggestion. I followed your directions to no avail. I then contacted Adobe support, and after they checked their resources and reviewed my settings in DXO, we eventually figured out that we had to show sub-folders in folders in settings, which had not been the case. Additionally, in Sync, the copy name and label were removed. Over an hour later, after re processing, the DNG and DNG.DXO images found each other and paired.
Once again,
Thank you,
Adrian

If they are just not added back to Lightroom, then using ‘Synchronize Folder’ should fix this. You would then have to manually add them to your collection(s) however. It’s obvious that an image that is not in Lightroom (yet) will not be in any collection either.
